Dr. Lisa Sanders, Clinical Professor at Yale University and author of the book “Every Patient Tells a Story: Medical Mysteries and the Art of Diagnosis“, was the speaker at this morning’s keynote address. Dr. Sanders tells a good story…her talk was engaging and relevant to our world as medical librarians. Dr’ . Saunder’s discussed the importance of clinicians’ listening closely and without interruption to the patient’s story, since this story is a key factor for developing an accurate diagnosis.
